Week 8 Streamers and Waiver Wire adds are listed below. All players have a sub 60% ownership in Yahoo.
- Jimmy Garoppolo (SF) at SEA
- Teddy Bridgewater (CAR) at ATL
- Derek Carr (LV) at CLE
- Green Bay vs MIN
- Tennessee at CIN
- Detroit vs IND
Waiver Wire Running Backs:
Carlos Hyde (SEA) – Chris Carson has a mild foot sprain and is looked to be sidelined for a few weeks. Carlos Hyde will be the main workhorse for one of the best offenses in football. He is averaging 4 yards a carry on the year and 16 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown this past weekend.
Chase Edmonds (ARI) – Edmonds will be a top 15 running back with Kenyon Drake out a while with an ankle sprain. He already was a viable fantasy starter as he has a 63% ownership in Yahoo. Just in case, you should check to make sure he isn’t a free agent.
Waiver Wire Receivers:
Rashard Higgins (CLE) – Rashard Higgins looks to be slotted into the Browns’ #2 WR with Odell Beckham out for the year with a torn ACL. He tied Jarvis Landry in targets with 6 and caught all 6 for 110 yards. He was not a beneficiary of one of Baker Mayfields 5 touchdowns. With Austin Hooper still out, Higgins looks to be heavily involved in the passing game. He can be a good flex option in 12+ team leagues.
Nelson Agholor (LV) – Agholor had nine targets and turned that into 5 receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown. This was the first week he eclipsed 5 targets but the third straight week he recorded a touchdown. Should be a bench stash in both PPR and standard leagues since his touchdown rate is valuable in standard.
Denzel Mims (NYJ) – Denzel Mims is more of a deeper league add. In his first game, he had 7 targets for 4 receptions and 42 yards. Jamison Crowder did not play and Breshad Perriman suffered a concussion injury. I am not sure if either will play next week but they might keep having the rookie Mims involved in the future week.
