Waiver Wire Running Backs:
Gus Edwards (BAL) – Not sure how serious Mark Ingram’s injury will be, but if he misses time, Gus Edwards will be the main guy. He had five more carries than Dobbins and also got a red zone touchdown. He also out-snapped Dobbins 25-19.
Jerick McKinnon, JaMycal Hasty (SF) – Raheem Mostert suffered a high ankle sprain and will miss multiple weeks. Hasty got three more carries than McKinnon and was also more efficient. McKinnon is the vet so he will most likely be getting the majority of the carries in the future. Incase McKinnon is taken, Hasty should also be added. Jeff Wilson didn’t practice last week so the other two are better short term options.
Boston Scott (PHI) – Not a fan of Scott while Miles Sanders is out since Week 1 he split time with Corey Clement and neither could produce vs Washington. In PPR, Scott has more value and has proven he can be fantasy relevant last year.
Waiver Wire Receivers:
Tim Patrick (DEN) – Patrick had the most targets this week with Drew Lock back. He also posted 6-113-1 with Brett Rypien the week before. He should be added and is a good flex option in future weeks.
Keelan Cole (JAX) – Not many players this week and last week was the big receiver week. Cole posted 6-143 on 9 targets. The Jaguars will be a super pass happy team as they will be trailing most of the time in their games. Cole is a last resort if you badly need a receiver.
Anthony Firkser (TEN) – With Jonnu Smith expected to miss time, Firkser could be a top 10 tight end. Even before Smith got hurt, Firkser was having a nice game this past weekend. He finished with 8-113-1. As a Jonnu owner in multiple leagues, I am personally targeting Firkser.
